SMS and voice credits are included in your Standard subscription — most sites never use their full allowance. If you do exceed it, overage is charged at £0.07/SMS and £0.07/min. Alerts are never blocked regardless of usage — a missed critical alert is far worse than an unexpected overage charge.

Email alerts are unlimited and included at no additional charge on all plans.

Typical month

A kitchen with 4 cabinets running smoothly: maybe 5–10 SMS, well within the 100 included. A difficult week with a fridge fault: perhaps 25 SMS and 8 voice minutes — still within the bundle, no extra charge.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, cancel from inside the dashboard at any time. No lock-in, no cancellation fee, no questions asked.

How am I billed?

Via Stripe, monthly, per site. Your card is charged at the start of each billing cycle for the subscription, plus any SMS and voice usage from the previous month billed in arrears.

What’s covered by the 30-day guarantee?

Your first month’s subscription fee. If ChillCheck isn’t right for you, contact us within the first 30 days and we’ll refund it. Hardware is non-refundable — it’s yours to keep, bought directly from the retailers.

What if I add or remove a site mid-month?

Prorated. If you add a site on the 15th of a 30-day month, you’re charged for half a month. If you remove a site, the remaining days are credited to your next invoice.

Can I try it with one site before committing to more?

Yes — that’s exactly what most customers do. Start with one site at £25/month. Add more sites when you’re ready. Each additional site also adds 100 SMS and 20 voice minutes to your monthly pool.
